About Me

Welcome to my digital portfolio! I’m Patrick, a third-year Public Policy and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) student at the University of Toronto with research interests spanning urban studies, spatial analysis, and policy implementation. I bring an interdisciplinary approach to my work, drawing on coursework in political science, geography, GIS, and public policy to examine social and environmental subjects.

Professionally, I work as a Compliance Associate at Alterna Savings and Alterna Bank, where I specialize in regulatory compliance frameworks, privacy programs, and risk analysis in the financial services sector.

My professional experience complements my academic research, providing practical insights into policy implementation and governance.

Beyond my academic and professional work, I serve on the board of directors at Pflag York Region as Manager of Research, where I conduct applied research on 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusion policies and community programming. My research combines quantitative methods, including GIS and spatial data analysis, with qualitative policy analysis to address real-world challenges in public policy and community development.
